INGREDIENTS: Johnson & Johnson Baby Oil (or any other baby oil)
INSTRUCTIONS: Excellent remedy for even the heaviest dandruff buildup.Best to apply over the whole head in the evening and leave until the morning. You will not have to repeat to many times, but do daily until all dandruff is gone. Then repeat as required. No burning or side effects – only oily pillow case if you do not
protect it well with the towel. You’ll be happy you tried this – my husband sure was.

INGREDIENTS: Lemon juice
INSTRUCTIONS: This is easiest if you use the lemon juice that comes in squeeze bottles, not fresh lemons. Over a sink, squirt lemon juice directly on your scalp and gently massage the juice in with the tips of your fingers. Make sure you cover your entire scalp to get best results. Let the lemon juice work its wonders for about 15 minutes, then wash your hair as you normally would. If you used enough lemon juice, your scalp shouldn’t itch after the first or second treatment. Dandruff may require multiple treatments to the full effect (keep in mind that this is a temporary treatment, repeat this process if you get dandruff again later). This is a common Indian treatment that my mom did to me when I was younger and is great because all it requires is a cheap product most of us already have and doesn’t require us to do anything sketchy like putting aspirin in our hair (I’m always worried that my hair will turn green if I use aspirin!).

INGREDIENTS: Baby Shampoo (Cocamidopropyl Betaine)
Light Body Oil (Isopropyl Myristate w/ Sesame Oil)
INSTRUCTIONS: This Remedy is based on the theory that my Dandruff was caused by a combination of Unhealthy Dry Scalp, the damaging acids of most shampoos and conditioners, and alergic reactions to ingredients in
shampoos and conditioners. The Baby Shampoo cleans the hair and scalp with a pH that is not acid like the ingredients in most shampoos and body washes (incidentally the same ingredient.)The Light Body Oil is marketed by several companies and seems to be non-alergenic in most forms. The main marketer of the Light Body Oil is Neutrogena.
Instructions: Clean the hair and scalp once with the Baby Shampoo. Apply the Body Oil to the scalp and let it soak for a while (usally as long as it takes to wash the rest of you.) Wash the hair and scalp again with the Baby Shampoo. The Baby Shampoo cleanses the hair and scalp with its less harsh ingredients. The Body Oil softens and conditions the scalp and restores it to an unblemished condition. The second treatment of Baby Shampoo removes the excess oil from the scalp and pores leaving the skin still infused with the conditioning oils.A nice side effect is the hair conditioning properties of the Light Body Oil. This keeps you from having to use harsh conditioners that could also cause your scalp to react badly and flake off.

INGREDIENTS: 1 tblspn of Olive oil
1 tspn of limejuice
old scarf

Instructions: this is good for the clumpy kind of dandruff…just rub it on and it disappears..within a week or less

Ingredients: soap
Instructions: I know this sounds too simple, and that soap is supposed to make skin drier, not more moisturized, but after many treatments and
potions, i shampooed with soap instead of shampoo, and the dandruff disappeared!

Ingredients: vinegar
white vingagar, or any other vingager
Instructions: ok, i had really bad dandruff, like 3 mm thik. it went everywhere and over everything, i was so depressed i couldnt face wearing dark shirts (then you know you have to do something) at first i was like, i shud wash more, then i read about exma and thought, mmmmm what would kill yeast infections? vinegar? well i tried pouring vinagar over ma head, and put a towell round my hair and slept on it, dreaming of a flake free future. and hey presto, after washing my hair the morning after, IT HAD GONE! and unlike those anti dandruff shampoos, this lasted for weeks, as the yeast bacteria stuff was dead. now i admit, it will burn a bit, especially if like me you scratch the hell out of your scalp because of the dandruff. but if it burns, its werkin! this is a real cure to dandruff, and i really recomed tryin it . and dont worry, you wont smell like a bag of chips in the morning.

Ingredients: Two Asprin

My grandfather was a barber and suggested this after I had tried many of the store bought remedies, it is similar to another remedy just with less ingredients.Crush the two asprin and add to your normal amount of shampoo you use to wash your hair, wash hair with mixture and leave on for one to two minutes. Rinse well and wash again to ensure all the asprin has come
out. This has worked for me and everyone I have recommended it too on the first try.

Ingredients: aloe vera gel
Instructions: this works really well for a quick dandruff fix. 10-15 minutes before you wash your hair, rub a lot of aloe vera gel into your scalp. leave it on for 10 minutes, and shampoo your hair like you regulary do. if you do this everyday the dandruff will stay away.

Ingredients: Apple Cider Vinegar
Instructions: Use as much vinegar as you can. pour it directly on your scalp. rub around. leave for 5 min. Rinse. repeate if needed. (this usually works for only mild dandruff)Hey! I’m Spike from the US. A cure for Dandruff is Witch Hazel. This is an old religioustype remedy, but it works and I tell everyone it. All you need is a cotton ball and liquid witch hazel, soak the cottonballwith the hazel and dab it on your head. Or you can wash your hair with witch hazel. Either way works just fine. Do this for about a week and you’ll be dandruff free for a bit, my advice is to do it once every 3 days or so.
Peace and love,
